RIO Tarpon Hand Tied Leaders are the Guides’ Favorite! A hand tied 6 ft (1.8 m) Leader of ultra Hard, tough Saltwater Nylon, tapering from a twisted double strand of 22 lb class Tippet butt material and finishing with a 24" section of Shock Tippet. A Bimini knot in the end of the 22 lb class Tippet ensures the ultimate in protection, and a perfection loop in the twisted butt end makes it very easy to attach to a fly Line or butt section.
