This sling is just about perfect. I have no complaints. It has ample areas for zingers and accesorizing. I'm a gear nerd and have rod straps connected, a water thermometer, a zinger with nippers, flotant and dry shake holders, and I love the fact the included holster fits the Nomad Mid Length perfectly. Highly recommend if you don't require a waterproof sling.

I wasn't sure about this. It was between this and the Thunderhead sling, and I thought I would have preferred something waterproof, but I decided on this because it is just more convenient than the waterproof sling for actually working with while out on the river. It felt a bit more functional in this sense. In a perfect world, I would like this exact design made waterproof.

I absolutely love this pack. Has numerous attachment points for nips, hemostats, tippet, you name it. Room enough for your fly boxes, extra layers, lunch, and even a couple beers . Very comfortable

After looking at 2 other big name packs, this one had the most features i liked. The only complaint is i have triuble with my net, its short handle and does not fit the holder great, so i use the magnectic holder, but a retracting rype would do better.

A place for everything and everything in its place. This pack has helped me get organized and It was easy. Pack is perfectly sized for a full day on the water. My only gripe is that cross strap should be removable.

Backpacks, lumbar packs, shoulder packs ... you name it, I've tried it. None come close to the design, comfort, utility, and capacity of the Fishpond Summit Sling. It is so well designed, so well laid out, that it will be your "go-to" solution no matter where you fish. I love the fold-down bench for quick fly changes on the water, and the net storage is nothing short of brilliant. If you've been frustrated by the shortcomings of other pack solutions, you owe it to yourself to give this bag a try.

When trying to decide what my first pack would be (vest, backpack, sling, front-facing pack, etc) I kept coming back to this one and I'm glad I did. I really enjoy that it's not in the way when you're casting and how easy it is to pull it to the front. I also really like the stiff outer pocket which can be used as a bench to tie on a new fly.

The more I fish, the more I realize that I need a pack that will hold everything I need for the day, including my raincoat, water bottle, several boxes of flies and my goto Cliff Bars. This is the perfect pack for all of that....love it.

Great sling. I’ve only had it out once. Fits all the essentials plus some for a day on the river. Fold down workspace is great. Made of recycled commercial fishing nets, pretty cool. Thanks!

This is the ONLY pack I've been able to find that has a slot for my net. Best thing ever. No more aanoying net dangling behind me, catching on every stray branch, or wedged into a belt. Lots of places to store essentials, and the water bottle holder is great.
