I was using the built in tippet holders on my sling pack, but I finally just spent the extra 20 bucks to get a legitimate tippet holder. It’s much easier to access, more durable and holds a lot more spools.

Didn't think I'd appreciate it as much as I do. I love the built in line cutter and the rubber washers to keep the spools from free spinning.

Didn't think I needed one of these, but the more I learn how to do this fly fishing thing... I'm now packing around 3x to 6x tippet, some in both "regular" and "fluoro", so this tippet holder is working out great. I can switch it back and forth between my Fishpond Flathead sling bag, and my fishing vest, or whatever I need to clip it to. Unreels line easily with no problems.

I expected a quality Tippet holder, but this was better than expected.
The connection clip is quality and I love how easy it is to add or remove spools. Plus the Fishpond colors look sweet.
