Was wanting a vest that had a hydration pack built in to help limit amount of stuff I have to pack to the water. This vest fit the bill. Looked at cheaper versions online but decided this price mixed with the awesome reelcash I had stacked up couldn’t be beat. Love the pack can carry all I need and then some. Only downside is that it didn’t come with a bladder but I have enough hydration bladders that’s it wasn’t a big deal.

First, great company use recycled fishnetting in their fabric. Plenty of storage upfront with plenty of space for cameras, batteries, lunches, or water. One vest / pack for an all day outing.

I love this pack! It has plenty of storage for all my gear up front, and a great pack on the back for carrying my lunch and water.

I purchased the Fishpond Wasatch technical pack in the spring of 2018. The number and location of pockets is excellent. The ability to add a Geigerrig water engine to it is a super addition. The material is not fading and seems very abrasive resistant. I am able to carry an extra reel, rod, and rain jacket along with normal necessary wading accessories and the weight is well distributed and comfortable. I am a large person and it fits me well, which was a problem with other vests. I do wish it had a few more attachment methods and locations that fit other than Fishpond accessories; that I can live with though.

This combined back/vest is something all fishermen would not be able to take their eyes off, happened many times to me. The backpack portion can carry everything you need for a day trip. The front vest part offers a lot of spaces for boxes of flies, leaders, and many more. A key tip if to balance out front and back. If you put too many heavy stuff in the back, your front will be pushed up.
