A strong rod goes a long way, but a sensitive rod goes further. Combine the two and you have a deadly combination. Sensitivity in a fly rod helps you stay in complete control by staying connected through your fly line, leader, tippet, down to your fly. Also pairing power and softness makes for an extremely accurate rod. Pair this rod with a bit heavier fly line than a regular trout taper and you will have a match made in heaven. The Hardy Ultralite rod master’s versatility, feel, and power. Perfect for a broad range of anglers looking for the best of the best.

The Hardy Ultralite 8'6" 4wt is a great trout rod! Quality is top notch. It's light and can cast dry flies right where I want them. Price may be on the high-end for a non-US made rod, but I'm sure you'll forget about that once you use it.
