Korkers Darkhorse are wonderful boots, they fit great and offer excellent ankle support. I love that the soles are easily interchangeable. and yes one size larger the street size

I wanted to write this review because, first the Korker Darkhorse boots fit so well. Second and most important is Real Fly Rod is a wonderful company to work with. I recommend them very highly! The boots were sent as described and on time. As well being a first time customer they sold them for less then any other place I shopped.

Great boot. I got one size larger than my street and it works perfectly.

I've worn Korkers boots for years. I recently upgraded to the Darkhorse boots with the BOA system, let me tell you they are great! With a simple pull outward they open up far enough to put you foot in easily, then push in and twist tight. Plenty of support. I am a size 10 order a size 11, they feel great!

To start off with, I'm a big fan of the Korkers Omnitrix system. These boots replaced an older pair of standard lace Korkers and I am so happy with this upgrade. The fit is great, and the boa system is quick and effective. I now wish that Korkers sold black felt (vs white) by itself because I'm going to be very disappointed when these have to be replaced. The only drawback I have found thus far is the location of the gravel guard anchor point. It stretches my elastic gravel guards so much that I'm afraid of tearing them. Don't forget to size up at least one or one and a half sizes from normal shoe size especially for winter wading to have room for thick socks.

Excellent fit and true to size. I wear a 10.5 shoe size and the 11s are a great fit. Also really like the boa system and these are very easy to put in and take off.

i bought a 12 thinking that I could slip in them. I sent these back and bought 13s . Sure I got to try them out and they were secure, the traction was superb.

I put these off way to long. I was worried about durability of the replaceable soles and the boa system - all in all it was just a great first experience though. loved the lighter weight compared to my simms, and that I can throw on the rubber soles if I needed to for a longer hike or travel trip where felt wasn't allowed. these are the best boots on the market in my opinion!!
