I've been fishing these boots hard for the last three years, and they're finally starting to wear out. Even then, with a little TLC and some Aquaseal, I could get another year, probably two out of them. I fish a lot of rugged, freestone streams, and these boots have held up to the challenge really well. Considering what I paid for them, I couldn't be happier even if they were twice the cost. I was skeptical about the Korkers sole-swapping system at first, but I'm a big believer. I've never felt like the King-On sole was much better than standard trail running shoes on wet rock and moss, but it's great for hiking in and bushwhacking to the river. The felt soles are great on river rocks, and swapping between the soles is easy, even with the boots on ( I only use the felt soles in one drainage to avoid transferring aquatic invasive species.) Overall, I'm really happy with these boots, and after they die, I'll be buying another pair of Korkers. One thing, I did go with one size up over my actual shoe size. I found that was best, especially because I want extra room in my boots for more layers for winter fishing.
