AIRFLO SUPERFLO POWER TAPER FLY LINE
new Airflo SuperFlo Power Fly Line was created to specifically pair
with today’s fast action rods. Often those rods require a little extra
weight to load properly and with
its all-purpose taper, the SuperFlo Power line covers a huge range of
freshwater fisheries. The SuperFlo Power's condensed rear taper helps
generate more line speed to punch out in windy conditions. The aggressive rear taper, and forward-biased concentration of mass
the Superflo Power Taper is designed to be anything but subtle. Even
it's coloration packs a punch. Ideal for throwing big flies or hucking junk. It loads quickly at short
range and the large tip diameter turns over big flies. A longer rear taper
provides multiple pick up points and the Haul zone extends the usable head
length. It also has an ultra-thin running line that shoots like hell and takes up less spool
is the only company that extrudes Polyurethane as a super tough coating
on our fly line. With the inclusion of the new “FLO” technology, they
are able to produce a line that has running lines slimmer in diameter
than previous technologies, without any of the durability issues
associated with PVC. The end result is a fly line that is supercharged
throughout the entire line. Helping it glide through the guides with
minimal friction. SuperFlo lines have all the handling attributes and
durability of the best fly line in the world!
- Agressive front taper and tip for maximum power
- 20′ belly is short enough for easy management but long enough for moderately long casts when needed
- Condensed rear taper helps to generate more linespeed to help punch into the wind
- Low 6% stretch Power Core Braid
- 100% PVC Free coating for stronger bond with the core

I have this line in the 8wt version. I’ve used it for both light salmon fishing and northern pike. Works exceptionally the head turns over some pretty nasty pike flies with ease. I would say that ideally if you keep your fly under about 3-4 inches this line will cast it no problem, you’ll barely feel it on there. Anything bigger then that and you’ll be slinging more then casting. Overall great line.

Feels pretty similar to my Rio Grande. Overweighted, so casts bigger streamers and nymph rigs well.

Easily casts any fly I put on it. I use my 5 wt for stocked trout and bass. This line can still handle the small nymphs just fine, while still being able to throw big dries and bass sized streamers.
