Just go my hands on the Echo Carbon XL Euro Nymphing Rod and I have to say, I'm really impressed with it. One of the things that caught my attention was the more budget-friendly price point, which made it a no-brainer for me to give it a try. The sensitive tip makes it incredibly easy to detect strikes. I've been having a blast using it to catch smaller trout on my local rivers and ponds. Overall, I'd highly recommend the Echo Carbon XL Euro Nymphing Rod to anyone looking for a high-performing rod that won't break the bank. It's definitely a great addition!

This has been a great intro rod for Euro Nymphing and tight lining. I have used for a full season and it is sensitive to get the feel of tight lining, but sturdy enough to withstand my errors, snags, and the trees that jump in front of the fish. Highly recommend.

Purchased for my son this past winter after proving to him with my Echo Shadow 2 that euro nymphing improves my catch percentage when fish are not rising, especially in the winter in Oregon. Since then he’s been hooking trout every time out on the Deschutes with this rod. 10’ 3wt has handled large trout up to and over 20”. Also Echo is in the US and when I broke the tip of my Shadow 2 (my fault) I was able to get a replacement part in less than a week. I also have a backup tip in case something happens in the future.

I am just learning to do tight line nymph fishing and decided to try this rod. It is a great rod and has really helped improve my nymph fishing. It has a very sensitive feel, but is strong enough to fight and land the bigger trout.
