The Orvis Guide Hip Pack offers 9 liters of capacity and a highly innovative design to please any organizational perfectionist. The 100% recycled Cordura Eco Guide Hip Pack has the new Tippet Whippet recessed docking station with tippet bar included for instant, fixed, and fumble-free access for up to six spools. The large main compartment is topped with a large fly patch and inside are a zip pocket, drop-in pockets, and stretch mesh sorting pockets. Smaller front compartment with mesh pockets. The substantial side panels both have zip pockets and hidden net scabbards that store a net with instant access. A lo-pro zinger/nipper pass-through port and small zip pocket on one side and a water bottle holder on the other. Included are two straps, one lightweight neck strap and one heavier shoulder strap with multiple docking stations, a zip pocket, and fly patch. In sand. Weight 700g/1.54 lbs. Looking foe another alternative to my Orvis Guide Sling Pack. If this pack is as good as the sling pack, then Orvis has another winner.

Excellent addition to the Orvis Bug Out Bag. Just back from Montana and the Madison River. Performed exactly as advertised. On smaller trips, could just use this and easily carry what is needed, Adaptable to either hip or chest carrying. Highly recommend!

The Orvis Guide Hip Pack is the perfect tool to store a large amount of gear while on the water. This pack comfortably fits many smaller fly boxes or can hold Cliff's Bugger Beast Jr. Most importantly, it's comfortable. I've used this pack frequently while targeting bass and other warm-water species, and I've found that a large amount of storage is indispensable when targeting these species. The pack carries its weight on the user's hip, reducing stress on their shoulder, unlike many sling packs. Another benefit that I have come to appreciate is the pack's location on my hip, which is easily accessible by simply rotating the pack to the front. This system also works as a station for the angler to tie flies. As with many of Orvis' products, the secret nipper design allows the angler to keep their cutting device handy without it becoming an inconvenience or a snagging hazard. Similarly, the Tippet Whippet docking station stores several spools of tippet in an easily accessible location. Overall, the Orvis Guide Hip Pack is a versatile and accessible pack that stores a large quantity of gear without burdening the wearer.
