Just received this wading staff. Look nice and stout. Haven't used it yet, but reelflyrod was good to work with.

The new Simms wading staff is nice. I purchased this one because of the new sheath. I was able to mount it horizontally on my wading belt. It works well and is comfortable. The staff can slide out if it not place in fully, but I did not have any issues yet. The staff is a little stiff locking into place, but I broke it down and locked it out a few times before taking it on the river. Now is sets up quick. The measurements on the side of the staff are nice but more of an aesthetic.
