I tie flies from size 8 to 24 and upgraded from an old C-clamp non rotary vise. I am very pleased with the Renzetti Traveler after using it over the past 2 months. It is well built and functions perfectly. I have no complaints. I was concerned prior to buying it that the base might be too light and move around but I have not noticed that at all with my usage.

After tying on a cheap vise for years, I upgraded to the Renzetti Traveler 2200. What an improvement! This is a quality vise that is well worth the investment. I expect to use this vise for 20+ years.

This vise is the perfect compromise of price and performance, go ahead and spend more if you like, but the returns diminish quickly from here. Love mine!

Have had a Regal vice for years. Love the tension clamp and the quality, but have wanted a rotary vice for a while now. Pulled the trigger on the Traveler anodized aluminum version and am very pleased. High quality vice, and the ability to rotate the fly instead of wrapping materials around a stationary fly makes for a much tighter and better built fly. I will have and use this vice for years. Very pleased. One thing I will note - I'm tall at 6'4". The stem is a bit short, so I ended up looking down on the fly more than I wanted to. Just ordered the optional 9" stem that will lift it up a couple inches and be perfect for my height.
