Rio's Bass Leaders are designed and built to match the needs of the bass fly fisher. The leaders are made of a medium stiff nylon and have a powerful taper design that will easily turn over large flies, and cope with tough winds. The copolymer material is incredibly tough and abrasion resistant.

These leaders do a great job of casting any warmwater patterns, from smaller streamers to big poppers. They've held their own against big smallmouth and the occasional carp.

These are great quality leaders ready to go. Excellent for poppers and streamers, or any fishing that requires a little more strength in your leader. They also work great for adding tippet as you use more line on the leader.

This is my "Go TO" leader for largemouth bass. Holds up in lilly pads better than anything I have tried in 10 years!

This is my tapered leader of choice for my 7-wt. I use it throwing larger topwater and streamers for largemouth, but also when chasing reds in the marsh. 12-lbs is perfect for both applications. Just add a small shock tippet (20 lbs fluoro) if you're chasing reds over oyster beds.

I have used many of the warm water/bass, leaders over the years, and these are far the best. they throw big flies really well and are very tough, I recommend pairing them with the rio bass tippit. It makes a great combination for any smallmouth or even largemouth bass fishery.
