Great tippet with lots of variety. My choice is 3x on mid range days and 4x for clear days. For dirty water, I go straight to mono 0x.

I used SC's leader for a long time, the 5x 6x fluro leader I used breaks a lot more than RIO's. Lost countless flies because of that. Can you imagine in a half day fish trip I used 50% of a new SC spool? RIO saved me and my flies!

Great choice for euro/ tight line nymph and regular light subsurface flies.

Great tippet. Perfect for nymphs and rarely ever have breakouts

The Rio fluoroflex plus is wonderful. I use the 2x for most bass streamers. Always easy to tie and never had any faults. A+ stuff!

BEST TIPPET THERE IS. EASY TO TIE, AND HARD FOR THE FISH TO SEE.

All I use, nymphs, dries and streamers. Best tippet money can buy.

I have not gotten into this spool of tippet yet but sure it's just like the Rio fluorocarbon I've been using for years. I always fish fluorocarbon rather than regular tippet because at times on this river the water is so still and clear, I think it gives me that extra edge and is worth the extra cost. I ordered it in the 110 yard spool because I got tired of running out of the smaller spool in the middle of the river!!! It's a fine consistent tippet and strong for a 5x.

Spend a few more dollars on the Fluoreflex Plus version and you'll save more flies in the long run. Excellent quality tippet!
