RIO FLUOROFLEX PLUS TIPPET SPOOLS
This exceptional Leader and Tippet material is made from 100% fluorocarbon (PVDF). Fluoroflex® Plus is the strongest, thinnest fluorocarbon on the market with an incredible strength; for example, 5 lb for 5x material. It is a slight ly softer material than Fluoroflex and ties excellent knots. The refractive index (1.42) of Fluoroflex Plus in Water (1.33) compared to Nylon (1.62) makes it almost invisible to fish.Fluoroflex Plus, with a Density of 1.72 (compared to Nylon of 1.15), Sinks quicker and gets below the Surface tension for more effective dry fly, Nymph and Wet fly fishing.
7x - 0x 30 yds (27.5 m). Also available Guide spools of 110 yds (100 m) in 6x - 2x.

Excellent material and quite strong. Use with a tippet ring and you’ll only have to change your leaders every now and again. Use 2x/3x for steelhead in Lake Erie Tribs.

6x worked great on 4x & 5x 9' Rio leader for fooling trout in Central Oregon streams, swinging drys and nymphing under an indicator in shallow water (2' and less depth).

The perfect tippet for stealth and nymph or wet fly fishing. Never fails on me. A little bit on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. Super strong!

The fluoroflex tippet from Rio is everything needed for trout fishing. They have proven effective on numerous trips using nymphs and small streamers. I carry 3X-7X with me trout fishing to cover nymphs, wet flies and small streamers.
When my previous spools started running low I really appreciated the "3-pack" purchasing option to start over with Rio. Not many other dealers seem to offer this option.
