This is probably the best line for throwing heavy or wind resistant flies. Cant go wrong with this if you're throwing top waters.

I paired this with my Winston Nimbus 6wt 9' for a dedicated streamer throwing rig. It had the weight/loading to help me throw my bigger trout streamers. Used it once already and can't wait to use it again next weekend.

Have a 7wt Big Nasty on my Scott Radian 957-4 and it is a great match! Great accuracy in close and I can hit the mark all day at 80 feet when needed. Very happy with this line!

This is a quality product, but the taper isn't nearly as aggressive as what I've found in other lines that are designed to throw large streamers. If you're looking to fling serious flies with a very fast action rod, I recommend that you consider over lining by one size. My Helios 3D needed the extra grain weight in order to reach its full potential with this taper. I actually think the SA Titan is a superior taper in the floating line, but the Big Nasty is definitely a good line.

Have been using this on my 7wt for over a year now, great line for chucking big flies.
