The InTouch Skagit Trout Spey Shooting Head is a very easy casting, short shooting head that will throw big flies and fast sinking tips with exceptional ease. This is the perfect head for swinging and stripping streamers for anglers using light two-handed trout Spey rods, as well as regular single-handed fly rods (just check the grain weight to match). Each head is made on RIO’s ultra-low stretch ConnectCore for maximum sensitivity. A shooting line and a front tip are required to make this head fishable.

Flyrodreel.com guys were right on with their advice. I bought the Scandi and Skagit shooting heads for my 4 weight Winston Microspey, along with every every available leader combination available from RIO. What fun, I am new to the whole spey casting, but with some patience and lots of casts I am amazed how well the combinations work. With more practice it should be even more fun. NOTE: Buy a Versitip kit to start you off. Saves money and you get the nice leader wallet.
