I really like this leader. 7X is perfect for the river I fish. The trout are super picky and will only take flies size 20 and above. I’ve used this nymphing with good success. The line sinks nicely and the thin design keeps it almost invisible to the fish.

Great knot tying and excellent abrasion resistance. If you're a salt water angler - especially one who fishes from the beach or jetties - this is the leader you need to have on your reel. Great turnover for big SW flies, and solid strength to land big species such as striped bass, bonito, and Albies.

Been using this in the 20# for my large saltwater flies. Not only does it turn over large flies effectively, but it really holds up against the abrasion of rocky shorelines and jetties. Caught 9 stripers in one evening using this leader, so it must be pretty invisible to the fish!
