Lightweight yet sturdy enough for all day hiking and various water conditions. I couldn't be happier in these, especially when paired with Simms' G3 Guide Wader. Agree with other comments that a half size up is all you need for a great fit. May purchase another pair so I to keep this combo around for as long as possible!

These boots are extremely well made, comfortable, and not too heavy. Feels more like a amphibious hiking boot :)

These are easily the best I have used, in cold and warm water and in general. They are comfortable and so far durable...already have a second pair waiting in reserve in case Simms changes them!

These boots are great. I have been using them for a few weeks now and they are performing wonderfully. They are not too heavy, yet comfortable. These boots are sturdy enough for miles of hiking to get the the best river spots and a full day on the water.
I am a half shoe size, so following the sizing chart recommendation round up then go up a size...the toe box is a tiny bit roomy, but not so much that I would want to go down a size.
Great boots, would recommend!

I purchased these boots several weeks ago and have put several miles on them since. I have been extremely satisfied with them so far, they are comfortable, grip well, and seem to have great stud retention.

These wading boots make life so much nicer! I fish with a case of the bends, always trying to see what's around the next bend. These boots have held together perfectly for going on a year now and I do a lot of out of water hiking over various terrain. They also let me keep my footing in low water Texas summer muck! Do your feet a favor and buy them!

A true walking boot for the river. These are a big step up from the big and clunky traditional wading boot. So far these things are awesome.

These boots are great! They are very lightweight yet they sit high on the ankles and give great support. I wear a shoe size 8.5, but sometimes I wear a size 9 shoe size. I elected to go with a size 9 shoe, rather than a 10 and I am glad I did. I can wear these with my g3 guide waders with wool socks, and they fit. The socks I wear with them though aren't overly thick (i.e. midnight wool socks). But at the same time I am able to wear these boots with just neoprene wading socks, and they are not too loose. ReelFlyRod does so good with shipping quickly. They quickly notified me that they did not have them in stock, but ordered them directly from Simms for me, and still go them to me in about 5-6 days after the purchase. I am very happy with this purchase!

Ridiculous! I purchase this pair before a four day trip and so was pleased there was no break-in for these boots. Hiked in and out of spots included long boggy pastures to mountain goat terrain and was giddy the whole time. I've purchased my share of wading boots over the decades and these are the bomb. I do agree that if you're into algae slick rocks, best to install the studs. It will be easier. Secondly, my hat is off to ReefFlyRod. Joe Penry responded to my email really fast and I ordered that day. Look no further if you're in the market for a great pair of wading boots.
