As you get older you're feet tend to get colder and these Simms thermal socks have made a big difference for me when I'm in 40 degree water. I highly recommend these Simms thermal socks.

I often had a problem with loosing feeling in my toes while wading in cold water, but I got two pairs of these socks for a recent steelhead trip, and they performed better than expected. My feet remained nice and toasty, even after wading in 43- to 45-degree water for hours at a time. Easily the best wading socks I've ever bought!

Use these for float tubing, really warm, and super thick, just be aware with the thickness, booties feel a little snugger.

My wife bought these for me and initially I thought the price was very high for socks but after wearing them for three days on the Deschutes river I have to say they were worth every penny.
