    TFO PRO II 6WT 10'0" FLY ROD : TF 06 10 4 P2

TFO PRO II Fly Rods are the perfect affordable, all-purpose fly rods and TFO‰s best selling fly rod series. These medium-fast and progressive action rods are smooth casting and powerful, yet very forgiving. Lefty says they are the perfect rods for all anglers and skill levels. This TFO PRO II 6wt 10'0" is a great choice for trout and smallmouth bass in medium to large rivers. The PRO II 6wt will launch streamers to the bank and throw bass poppers straight to their target. This rod also excels as a light steelhead rod that will get the adrenaline flowing. This versatile 6wt will do it all medium to large rivers and makes a great pond/lake rod where longer casts are required to reach fish. The 10'0" length will add distance to your cast, excels at mending line and roll casting, and is well suited for fishing from a boat or kayak.

TFO PRO II rods feature attractive cosmetics including a matte black finished blank and subtle gold logo, alignment dots color coded by line weight, premium grade cork with burled accents, and oversized stripper guides. New anodized reel seats with a braided carbon fiber insert make these rods an unmatched value. Each rod comes with an attractive TFO logo rod sock.

    TFO 6wt 10'0" Rod

    Dennis (Utah) | July 12th, 2020
The standard rod is primarily 5wt 9'0" here on Utah rivers. The added weight and rod length on this TFO 10'0" are great on windy days, streamer fishing and brush avoidance on my back cast. I use it for float tubing lakes as well as from shore for the added distance and fish control. Great naked nymph rod on the lakes using 12' plus leaders. I have two other 10'0" rods: One 3wt for Czech nymphing and an all around 5wt/6wt. The TFO feels better and is nicer looking. To me, the 10'0" length has become my go-to rod for most of my fresh water fishing. Rods have come a long way since my first fiberglass 6wt 7'9" Orvis in 1975. This TFO fits my style of fishing here in Utah and the price is right.
