ZOO COUGAR
This fly was designed to imitate a sculpin, and to look a little injured. The fly has no weight and actually is designed to barely sink. The flat head thick collar and mallard flank wing make the fly light so every current that touches it makes it flutter side to side. This fly was designed to fish with a Jerk Strip retrieve. Great for trout, smallmouth, and bass.

effective streamer. topwater it creates a bubble and almost works like a popper. sinking line and it kind of mimics a jerk bait. bass love it.

I use it on topwater for pressured largemouth. Will go under and bubble then rise to the top. Big bass love to hammer it when it sits.

Motion is real good and fishes well with a sink tip (gives feeling of a dying bait fish). Most luck on olive.

You may not always need this fly but when you have a reel with weighted line you will wish you had more rows of this pattern in your fly box- it delivers.
