Then Echo cut, shaved, and overhauled the core of the reel until they could shoehorn a robust four-layer carbon fiber disc drag system in the hub of the reel. The Echo Bravo LT 8/10 Reel is the perfect choice for any 8, 9 or 10wt rod targeting larger bass, salmon, bonefish, permit, and general saltwater fishing.
This new design includes sealed O-rings to keep water and dirt from entering the guts of the reel, for smooth, reliable performance. The design allows a person to not only change the retrieve from left to right without tools, but also completely disassemble the drag and service it and put it back together quickly.
