Love this floatant for just about everything. It’s thin enough to use on hair wings, and even most feather wings without matting them all up. But it’s not so thin that it runs all over. It’s the perfect consistency and doesn’t vary whether it’s August or January. About the only dry flies I don’t use it on are CDC wing flies.

Very good floatant. It stays long and flies float well on multiple casts.

Great for dressing floating line.

Best liquid floatant I can find. Other good products out there but this seems to be the least greasiest and lasts the longest so you get more for your money. Love Loon products.

This floatant keeps its viscosity in both cold and warm weather. Some of the others thicken when cold and turn to water when warm. Just put a little on your fly before you hit the water, and it really does make a difference in keeping it riding high. I use the extra that sometimes comes out to grease my leader to keep it riding high too.

Loon Aquel fly floatant is the best you can get in a liquid floatant. The solution does not thicken in cold temperatures like other brands tend to do nor does it become excessively thin in hotter temperatures. Add a bit of this to your dry fly when you begin to fiish and again after drying your fly with Loon Dry Shake. Not recommended for CDC feathers but works exceptionally well on all other materials. Placed in a loon floatant caddy the lid is down and when opened the proper amount is quickly and easily dispensed.
After applying to the fly I also add whats left on my fingers to my tippet which helps keep it on the surface. Highly recommended!
