Rio's Bass Leaders are designed and built to match the needs of the bass fly fisher. The leaders are made of a medium stiff nylon and have a powerful taper design that will easily turn over large flies, and cope with tough winds. The copolymer material is incredibly tough and abrasion resistant.

My favorite leaders for big bugs. They turn over most bass bugs and streamers really well. For really big stuff or heavy cover I like to cut them a little shorter

This leader is perfect for throwing large bass flies. It has a stiff butt section that tapers down to a variety of pound tests. I found the 10 lbs leader to work well with both poppers and streamers on my 6wt for LMB and SMB.

These are great for all bass applications but I’ve found them a bit long for me at 9ft. I tend to cut about a foot or more off and add a blood knot. Not as smooth of a taper but easier turn over for big flies.
