    The new Orvis SSR reels feature advanced engineering, a non-slip full frame construction, and smooth, completely-sealed disc drag system. Available in three spey specific sizes, with unique porting that drains the reel and dries the line and backing quickly, eliminating the the dreaded ‘ice donut’ and leading cause of line corrosion. Orvis SSR is built on the proven Hydros sealed disc drag that protects lighter trout spey-sized tippets on the lower settings, yet is ready to put the brakes on any screaming run. Available in 3 spey specific sizes, the SSR III for Trout Spey, the IV which is ideal for Switch up to full-length spey rods, and the V for monster 9 and 10 weight, 15’ rods.
