The best-selling Orvis fly-fishing Sling Pack has been updated and improved not only for durability, but with innovative new convenience features as well. The 100% recycled Cordura Eco Fabric; platform is designed to store, organize, and offer easy, intuitive accessibility while staying completely out of your way when fishing. New features include the Tippet Whippet recessed docking station with tippet bar included for instant, fixed, and fumble-free access for up to six spools. Main compartment has zippered security pocket with key fob and stretch mesh pockets for small sort storage. Front drop-down has zippered pocket with elastic mesh slip pockets. Lo-pro zinger/nipper pass-through, easy swing handle, and water bottle holder with retainer. Front strap “dashboard” offers multiple docking stations for forceps and small tools as well as sliding adjustment for sternum strap. Left shoulder design frees up casting arm and shoulder. Weight: 500g/1.1 lbs. Tippet and accessories not included.

Before I bought this sling pack I was spending too much time messing with all of my tackle especially replacing tippet. Now I have a hands free work space that I can quickly place in front of me. The tippet dispensers and pockets are a great feature. The quality pack is not waterproof but that's not an issue for me.

Caught this on sale and couldn't resist. Has enough space for day trips and keeps thing secured. The only thing I don't care for it the water bottle holder, wish they would just make one w a Camelback water system.

Plenty of room for everything I need and the quality is good. Comfy enough to wear for several hours fully packed. Definitely happy with it

This pack is amazing! I got it in the fishwear color and it is balanced perfectly between crazy colors and patterns and being simple enough to not stick out like a sore thumb! I love all the storage and the fact that the securing strap unbuckles from the pack completely!!
I would definitely buy again!

perfect size for a couple hours on the water...left shoulder strap stays out of the way...main compartment big enough for extra spool, snacks/lunch, and additional fly boxes. the external water bottle holder will fit a nalgene sized bottle (no digging in the pack when thirsty). my one wish would be for straps on the bottom to hold a rolled rain/light jacket

For its size, its a great pack. Well made. It was a little small for the amount of gear I take. Has loops on it for tippet and other tools.

The highlight of the Orvis Sling Pack are the numerous unique features. For example, the hidden zingler pocket is provides easy access to a zinger without needing to store it on the outside of the bag. Similarly, the padded shoulder strap makes wading for long periods of times comfortable. In addition, the built-in tippet holder conveniently stores tippet in an easily accessible location. The bag also is very spacious. While it can get full quickly, I've been able to fit several fly boxes, water bottles, and lunch into this medium sized pack. This pack is an exceptional day pack which is designed in an ergonomic and angler-friendly way.

I picked this sling up after using a vest for years. I found it to be much more convenient and has plenty of room for tools and boxes. It takes some getting used to when moving from a vest but well worth it.

For under 100 bucks this is a great pack. It is'nt my daily, but, it is awesome for when I want to change up without reloading my other sling. Best feature is the padded shoulder strap. I thought it would be a sweaty spot on hot days but it actually channels air and breathes.
