The size is good for carrying what I need for the day without making my back ache. Would buy again.

I got one of these as a replacement for a sling from another company. My old one was well made and smart, but it had a few design issues that drove me nuts. This new Orvis sling was clearly designed by someone who fishes in a sling a lot. The construction is tough, but it’s smart features like the recessed tippet holder in the center of the bag and the ample front pocket that really make this little guy work. It slides around from back to front really ergonomically—things line up nicely when you pull it around to rig up. Rigging up used to be a wrestling match for me with the old bag.
