This line is extremely slick and casts dries exceptionally well on my Sage Mod 0904.

The slickness and durability of SA lines is unmatched. The long back taper is easy to pull off the water and is the long head is nice for tight loops and control in the wind. The trout taper in general is the best taper available.

This is the best fly line I have ever purchased. I can literally mend my line with just a flick of my wrist. Highly recommend this line!

I love 6wt fly rods. To me they are the perfect rod for fishing virtually any freshwater species. From trout to carp, bass and more, 6wts can get the job done. When it comes to using a 6wt for dry flies, you need to have a line that can present small flies delicately. That's where the SA Amplitude Smooth Trout line comes into play. This line allows me to go from an aggressive MPX line for streamers and large nymph rigs to something that can softly present a small dry fly articulately to a wary trout, even with the larger rod weight. And thanks to its slickness, this line shoots like a rocket through the guides of my rod. I love this line and you will too, so quit reading this review and get it!

Great line. Paired the WF4F with my Scott GS 844-4 and it's a perfect match!

Put this line on the battenkill II and love it. It's very smooth and I found it enhanced my casting distance.
