Used these on a trip to North Carolina. They are thicker and built better than the Orvis socks I had previously. I like the length which covers my low height Light weight wading better than the Orvis.

I wore out a cheap pair in two months, then another big name brand in three months.. needless to say I do a lot of hiking in and out of the water and can be rough with my stuff! Decided to splurge for the more expensive Simms brand and nine months in they are still good as new! Super comfortable in hot Texas weather, and in a rare cold situation I just leave them rocked up for some extra leg protection! Do your feet a favor and just buy em!

Disclaimer: I have not been in the water with these guys yet. But the fit and finish are very good. I typically wear an 11.5/12 shoe, and the large size in these is just right. I have high hopes for summer wading!

Used these Simms wading socks on a recent saltwater fly trip with flats sneakers. Very comfy, no issues with gravel or sand getting in-between the socks and my feet. Love them!

If you want to utilize your wade boots throughout the year, you must pick these up. You can go in shallow waters without a wader.

I wear a size 11 in most shoes, and ordered a size large in these guide socks. They fit my foot perfectly!
I wet waded the Cataloochee area for 10 days straight. I picked up a little blister on the inside of my left heel on day one, when we got back to camp, I turned the socks inside out and found a little extra weld on the seam, I removed it and put a band aid on the next day, after one day, it was healed and didn’t have an issue after that.
I was hiking and fishing an average of 7 miles a day in these socks as I did not want to carry extra gear in...
I highly recommend these to anyone wet wading.

Bought these with the new flyweight boots. Using both together were extremely comfortable. In and out out of the streams and a lot of hiking in between spots these proved themselves quickly. Another product held up to the Simms standard. Excellent buy!
