These are awesome! Fit and quality is what you'd expect from Simms. When it's super hot it saves your hands which was needed last weekend at 90 degrees fishing the Deschutes. Highly recommended.

I always wear sunscreen since I burn easily, but it makes my hands slippery (and messes with the line) and since they're in the water a lot, I have to reapply it (if I remember) constatnly. These gloves are perfect for keeping my hands protected, and I can still "feel" the line. I have small hands and these fit perfectly.

My husband ordered these for me and they are amazing. They fit awesome and the snap to hold the two together is a nice touch. These will definitely save my hands and fingers from the textured line. Highly recommended.

Usual Simms quality of materials and workmanship. I like the reinforcing on the stripping finger.

It seems kind of silly that a pair of gloves should be reviewed, especially with five stars. But I love these gloves, and I use them almost every time I go fishing. When I don't use them, I miss them. They're really well thought out, and if I lost them, I'd probably delay a day of fishing to go buy another pair. I sunburn easily, and these make it easy to protect my skin without sunscreen (which messes with fly lines). My hands dry out pretty badly after a day of fishing, and they protect my index finger from the friction of handling a fly line all day, which usually means a cut that takes a few days to heal. Plus, the leather is really well placed, and it makes handling a fly and changing things up easier. Really, these are just amazing gloves, and I think everyone should be fishing with them.
