Perfectly balanced for the longer two handed rods that are in production today. To create the perfect Microspey reel, Bauer started with a large arbor fully caged design. The fully caged design prevents line jumping with thinner diameter lines and allows for a rigid more durable reel. Reel capacities accommodate the wide variety of Scandi and Skagit style lines. Next, Bauer incorporated the finest drag system on the market for a silky smooth drag that protects light tippets and allows more consistent line feed when fighting large fish.
