Tried several different less expensive tippet holders for my freshwater set up and just didn’t like them. I had the XL for saltwater setup and love how it works. Should have bought this one and save the aggravation.

I’ve had this tippet spool for two years, on a few different packs, and through several falls but it’s held up great! I’ve thought about upgrading to the larger version. Good excuse to buy more spools.

This is a high quality tippet spool. Sturdy and easy to use. Definitely worth the money and would highly recommend.

Makes accessing and organizing tippet spools easy. The clip is plastic which is unfortunate. Time will tell how long it holds. The rest of the holder is metal and very sturdy. It's easy to open and the tippet cutter works great.

Love it but gave it four stars because I don't like the plastic clip as the attachment point. I took that off and looped the metal part through a molle loop. Works perfect.

The orientation of the tippet spool holder is the key element for me, it is more ergonomic than the types that hang straight down. It's a bit expensive for the benefit, thus the 4 star.

I highly recommend this tippet spool holder! I picked up a cheap knockoff version initially and it broke off at some point taking 80 dollars in tippet with it. This design is much higher quality, and is built very heavy duty. It hangs great on my pack and doesn't make noise. Learn from my frugal mistake and buy a high quality spool holder!
