The Nomad Emerger net was designed to work with both packs and vests. The longer handle can easily tuck behind a pack but is not too long to hang off the back of a vest. Nomad Nets are constructed with carbon fiber/fiberglass composite material. The result is a very lightweight and durable net. Nomad Nets are built for the conditions that prevail where great fishing exists; they are waterproof, UV protected, and float like a cork. All Nomad Nets come standard with a rubber bag. I did a lot of research prior to replacing my old standard wooden landing net and decided to spend the money on a Fishpond after much research and seeing what all the fishing guides were using.
I tried a Nomad Mid-Length first but it was just too large for me. The Nomad Emerger is the perfect size, weight, and length for me to carry on my vest with a gear retractor. Perfect size to carry while wading and a great length overall to reach and net a trout without stress.
Excellent quality and I highly recommend both ReelFlyRod for best customer service and tge Fishpond Emerger Landing net.

This net is the perfect size for all of my trout fishing here in the Colorado Rockies. Its made to last a lifetime and can take a beating unlike several nets I have owned in the past. I would highly recommend this net for all purpose trout fishing.

Love this net! Super light, and great length and net size for everything from small brookies to big browns. Only used a handful of times but it feels strong and durable. I’ve used it as a staff and it hasn’t showed much wear.

This is very good for my fishing. usually the big net comes with very long handle which makes it difficult to reach. And the length mark on the handle is a very easy way to measure your fish :D

Fantastic net. It’s light and has a great reach for river fishing. The brown trout pattern is eye catching and Fishponds quality is excellent as always
