The Nomad Emerger net was designed to work with both packs and vests. The longer handle can easily tuck behind a pack but is not too long to hang off the back of a vest. Nomad Nets are constructed with carbon fiber/fiberglass composite material. The result is a very lightweight and durable net. I've used the net twice now both for fly fishing and spin fishing. The extra reach you have on the handle is great. The brown trout pattern painted on the handle is sharp looking. I paired it with the magnetic net release, works great!

Love this net, perfect for scooping up the carp in neighbor pond, lol... seriously it is but great size for bigger trout streams, etc. High quality, worth the $.

The net is expensive so I was eager to see it and try it out. First, it is beautiful and incredibly solid. There is a heft to it that you find with something solid and well made. It doesn't mean it is heavy just solid. I have been lucky enough to use it frequently in the last two weeks and the extra length comes in handy and the fly hasn't gotten tangled in the net even once! Exactly what I wanted.

Best holiday purchase! This net is amazing and the extra length is worth it. Can still carry it on my back without much problem. Definitely needed to land some fish especially when you have a long leader. Highly recommended.
