The Fishpond Nomad Mid-Length Net is perfect for the guide or the angler that is looking for a slightly longer handled net that can be easily carried while on the river or boat. This net is a perfect float tube or drift boat net for most river or lake species. Nomad Nets are constructed with carbon fiber/fiberglass composite material. The result is a very lightweight and durable net. Nomad Nets are built for the conditions that prevail where great fishing exists; they are waterproof, UV protected, and float like a cork. All Nomad Nets come standard with a rubber bag.Our Nomad Hand Net suited the vest-types, and the Guide Net got the pros' attention. The hardcore lumbar pack wearer, however, wanted a net with a little more length in the handle so they could stuff it between their pack and their back. The Mid-Length Nomad is it.

This is an outstanding net for wade fishing. The extra handle length helps when you are fishing a longer leader and need to reach out further to scoop a fish. I have scooped fish over 20" with ease. The extra width is nice for swiping at moving fish. It carries nicely when tucked in the wading belt or hip pack belt on your back. If you are regularly netting 25"+ fish, the Fishpond El Jefe net may be a better option.

This is the best general purpose fishing net on the market. I used to carry around the Nomad Emerger, and I just grew out of having a net flop around on my vest or pack. The measuring marks are useful, the size accomodates just about anything sub 10 wt fishing, it's light, and I recommend spending the extra few bucks to get the river armor model.

Purchased this net in the River armor finish and am glad I did. It has held up really well despite being subjected to quite a bit of abuse on boulders in the creek I fish. The length is just right without being too long I also have the guide version and found it to be too long for most of my solo fishing.

I use the fishpond sling bag and I was struggling to find a net with the perfect handle length for the bags net sleeve. I knew about this net but initially i didn't want to spend this much money. After looking a dozens of nets I couldn't find an alternative that has a long handle and is a quality net. I bought this and I don't regret it!
