    The Hardy Marquis is Remodeled but as Impressive and Beautiful as Ever

    Hardy Marquis LWT Fly Reels are about as classic Hardy as you could hope they would be. Based on the original Marquis reels this new line up of reels was updated in extremely subtle ways, including the use of 6061 bar stock aluminum, an increased regulator range and an indented regulator button for more accurate adjustments. The only major outward appearance is the increased porting for reduced weight. A total of eight models have been created for the Marquis, including five for various single-hand rod weights and the largest three with Switch and Spey style rods in mind. The update brings the Hardy Marquis LWT fly reel up to today’s standards for machining and technology while insuring that long-time followers of Hardy and newcomers to the brand still receive the same beloved performance and feel.
