    The Hardy Ultradisc fly reel is the purest form of a lightweight disc drag reel. While it has been stripped down to the essentials, Hardy has made everything that was left, something uniquely special. The modernized, fully closed frame handles even the smallest of running lines while the large arbor keeps any line memory at a minimum making it perfect for a Euro Nymph rod. Unlike other Euro Nymph reels however, the Ultradisc also is fully capable of handling the hardest fighting Permit on the flats. The Hardy Ultradisc fly reel is a perfect combination of a cutting-edge design, lightweight yet strong aluminum construction and incredible performance.
