capacity is more than sufficient to handle even the longest running
trout. Intended applications are streamer fishing with floating or
sink-tip lines, stillwater angling with floating, intermediate and
full-sinking lines, as well as handling the aggressively-tapered lines
needed to turn over large dry flies, poppers, articulated streamers, and
double nymph rigs.

After purchasing my Winston, I decided my existing reels did not fit the rod. Starting shopping based on Reel Fly recommendations and then color (I know I know). After looking at a variety of reels I kept coming back to Bauer. I have 3 reels for them presently and always been thrilled with the quality. Decided to contact a Bauer factory ambassador and they couldn't have been nicer. Recommended this reel to balance my Air 2 906 and it is perfect. Maybe not a my color choice. But the grey is beautiful. I could always paint it (Ha)
