The New Simms Flyweight Plier is small in size, but packs a ton of new features in a plier that is proudly made in Bozeman, MT. Made of corrosion resistant aluminum and stainless-steel jaws. The jaws feature a large textured surface for crushing barbs or split shot, while having a small smooth surface at the tip for debarbing the smallest of flies. Prep gear in advance or make micro-adjustments in the moment with tough, functional Flyweight Pliers - the go-to tool for both freshwater and light-tackle anglers.
Anodized aluminum body with stainless steel jaws and cutters
Unique ergonomic shape allows a variety of grips for anglers with hands of all sizes
Textured jaws for crushing barbs and split shot
Built in cutters for precision cuts of monofilament or fluorocarbon tippet
Holster designed to attached to HEXGRID, MOLLE webbing, 38mm wading belts or wader suspender straps
This is a finely crafted and designed tool. It packs a ton of function with crimping and cutting weights, tippet, and hooks. It is light and compact. The holster is designed to fit onto Molle, loops, or wader straps for easy storage. The tool smoothly locks into the holster and easily comes out when squeezed. The only thing this can't do is lock in the closed position, but an inexpensive pair of hemostats can handle that task. This is my new favorite stream side tool because it's the perfect size and can handle a wide range of tasks!

Well thought out tool. Very lightweight. Tough finish. Handy sheath that can be connected just about anywhere. Perfect size for all types of fishing. Not too big for small fish and tackle and not too small for big fish and tackle. Truly a one size fits all for all your fishing needs. And it's cool!
