NEW! ORVIS CLEARWATER FLOATING FLY LINE
Orvis Clearwater WF floating fly lines are built a half-size heavier to provide extra help loading the rod, casting larger flies, and handling the wind. A compact head helps to transfer energy more efficiently, load the rod in close, throw tighter loops, and turn over flies. This is the perfect choice for the newer fly fisher or those anglers that don't mind making casting a little bit easier. Clearwater lines feature Integrated Slickness Technology to shoot line further and have a front welded loop for quick rigging changes. Whether you're throwing terrestrials to picky fish or casting smaller streamers to an aggressive feeder, you can count on the Orvis Clearwater Fly Line to get the job done. You'd be hard pressed to find a better fly line at such a great price.

Really like this line. It is smooth casting and I have had no problems with it. Can't beat the price another plus.

Casts much better than the cheap line that came loaded on my old reel.

I purchased this line along with a new reel to help with my casting. Being new to the sport the extra 1/2 weighted line seems to have really helped me finding the load on my back cast. Very happy with the purchase.

This is the first new line that I've used, got it pre spooled on my new reel. I gotta say, this line is smooth! Granted, this is the first new line that I've used, casting is bounds beyond what I could do with my last line.

This is a quality line for the 9ft 5wt. I like the extra weight for the modern stiffer rods. It casts smoothly and I look forward to a many seasons with this line. I cut the welded loop off and replace it with a nail knot to perfection loop, but I'm glad its there in case I needed to get a line and make my connection quickly.

After I got the line today loaded it on my 8' 6" 4wt rood and hit a local pond to test it out. This new clearwater line cast extremely well in tight areas can do some scandi splash and go spey cast fairly well . It has the strong short tamper on the head with a little extra weight makes it a great line for roll cast too. I quiet impressed with this line.

Purchased WF3F fly line recently and used on a small local lake cast very well and cuts through the wind nicely. The head of this line is a bit heavier then normal 3wt line so it handles a roll cast quiet well too. Just purchased a 4wt now.

Overall this is a great line, thinking of buying it again for another outfit.

I have been throwing this line for about 3 months. Really happy with the performance. Effortlessly casting long tight loops and roll casts like a dream. Great budget friendly line. Looks and performs like the day I unboxed it!

Really enjoy this line. I am a repeat purchaser mostly because of the little effort it takes on longer casting. My father (avid) borrowed my kit for an afternoon and lushed over its smoothness. My only gripe ( i think ) is that i have wore my previous 2 spools out in 5-6 months. I am a weekend warrior and 1-2 times a week fisher. The problem occurs when the line starts to crack and lose it's ability to slide through the guides smoothly. Maybe I can lubricate or store in a warmer/cooler environment when not in use? I will be testing some theories.
