Having tried many brands of tapered leaders over the past few years I have settled on the Orvis brand for their consistency and quality. I have them in 7 1/2 and 9 foot lengths with attached tippet rings depending on conditions and what flies I’m throwing. The Orvis leaders are my go to leaders.

I really like these leaders because they uncoil and are straight. they have almost no memory to them and they do not kink when fishing. I would recommend matching this with the Orvis tippet as well.
