    The flagship saltwater reel series from Redington has a new Champion, the Redington Grande Reel. Crafted and CNC machined from 6061 bar stock aluminum, the Grande has a deep V shaped canal spool that reduces line stacking and maximizes backing capacity, both of which are musts for chasing the biggest creatures to eat a fly. The Super-Torque carbon drag system is fully sealed and capable of handling the extreme pressure and heat when hooked up with something that will fight with you for hours and take every inch of 700 yards of backing. The Redington Grande Reel broke many molds when it showed itself capable of going toe-to-toe with the same species many considered the exclusive realm of much more expensive reels.
