Purchased to be used by my 10 year old as his first fly rod. It was easy for him to get the hang of casting and seems durable enough to withstand a not-so-careful 10 year old while he learns to take care of his equipment. Overall, a great purchase and good value. Would purchase again for a younger angler or someone new to fly fishing wanting a smaller rod.
