I received this vise as a Father’s Day present this year. My wife purchased it with the streamer base as well. It is amazing. The quality and smoothness of this true rotary vise speaks for itself. Worth every penny.

This is the perfect vise. It handles everything from tiny nymphs and dries to gigantic streamers. It is easy to adjust and there is a lot of variability. I bought the 6x6 base be ause it is really sturdy, especially when cranking down on spun deer hair flies.

Just got this vise and it is a major step up from what I’ve been using.

I don' t think spending more would get you much more. This does everything from my 4/0 saltwater flies to size 20 trout flies. Very happy with this purchase.

Upgraded the cheap clamp style vise I was given as a gift . this thing is awesome. Great features for the money, and a very stable base .

This vise is absolutely beautiful! This is my first vise, but I did lots of research before making the purchase and this vise did not disappoint. You can see and feel the quality of the materials and craftsmanship that goes into this. This will be my first and last vise I ever own!

This vise has proved to be a true upgrade over my old Danvise. Solid construction and I'm glad I went with the 2300 based on the Gink and Gasoline review. I can't imagine needing much more for tying anything outside of the largest streamers.

This vise was recommended to me by a friend and I love it! It makes tying flies very enjoyable! Puts a firm grip on the hook so that it stays put all the way through the fly. Great vise!!

Great vise to learn on. Definitely not exclusively for travel as the name implies

its very light weight so its great for traveling. you may want something with a heavier base if you want something sturdier, but this is very versatile
