I used the RIO Dacron backing on all of my reels I own both in the 20lb and 30lb variations. Very durable, handles fish very well, and very eye-catching with all the carious colors!

Pretty standard backing. Does the job. Be aware that some colors (like red) will bleed and discolor your fly line.

I use Rio backing on all my fly reels. Love the colors. I got chartreuse to go with my blue reel. Looks great!

All backing are pretty much the same but i like to stick with Rio because i think they value quality. The chartreuse looks very bright, it gives a good contrast to my main line.

Great backing. Have used Rio backing for most of my reels. Use the chartreuse for 20 lb. and the orange for 30 lb. Alwaysworks.

The 20lb orange is a very good backing for fly reel and easy to see as you get older.
