I fish primarily the Texas Hill Country for bass as well as our local tailwater for trout. Fishing with a 6wt rod, I knew I needed a little extra help in turning over some of the bigger streamers I throw. Rather than use a traditional trout tapered nylon leader, I opted for SA's Absolute Streamer Leader. This leader with its stiff butt section combined with a Titan tapered sinking line, such as the triple density I/2/3 line, I can turnover essentially any streamer I tie on. This leader is not only tough, but it has the right formula needed to cast meaty flies. For someone who doesn't want to tie their own leaders, this off-the-shelf option is a huge win. I highly recommend it!

So I continue to be impressed with the new SA line of tippet and leaders. First time trying the streamer leaders. Super strong and easy to tie solid loop knots for streamers. Great turnover of articulated streamers for trout used in conjunction with an SA sonar titan tip. No breakoffs and hooked and fought some nice 17-18 inch bows. Definitely a believe and will be staying with Absolute SA leader and tippet materal for my trout applications.
