Sage does a great job machining these concave, ported arbor spare spools. I am happy that this spool is an exact perfect fit, and it is virtually identical to the original stealth color spool. There is absolutely zero wobble and I love how the spool knob does not separate from the spool, so there is no way to loose it while performing a change out. I am now able to use a reel that I love on two different lightweight rods.

I use Sage LT reels for my creek rod and they provide a good balance of construction, looks, and price. The drag on sage reels are on the weaker side but that's not an issue for a 3 wt rod. The spools fit perfectly and seem solid. Only nitpicky thing I noticed was the black was a litte more glossy than my reel body black. But that might have just been I picked the black spool even though the body was black/spruce.
