I killed it this past fall with this fly. Fishing it slow in the bottom and letting it drift with the undercurrents worked like a charm! I even got a couple carp to chase it along the way

Schultzy's Low Water Crayfish pattern is excellent for smallmouth. While not the most life-like pattern, its simple design makes it attractive to throw into tight cover, as it can easily be replaced. Overall, it's a simple, but effective, pattern that works wonders for smallmouth.
