Just got it and tried it out in the snow. Seems to cast well on my 10ft 8wt Clearwater rod. Plan on testing it out on Pike as the ice goes out in the spring and go from there.

I bought this line about a year ago using a gift certificate for this site. The line delivers as promised! I fish an 8wt Orvis Helios 3D from a float tube, and I can make 45-60ft casts, even while sitting in the tube because I don't have to get the entire head in the air to load my rod, and the running line shoots so smoothly. Plus the extra long head allows me more line control while sitting down. All of this allows me to spend more time fishing and less time looking for places to stand up. Finally, I had to call the shop to get my gift certificate to function, but the guys were extremely helpful, and I am now a loyal customer!

Been fishing this line for a couple months now. Powerful heavy head that will turn over all of the biggest flies you'd want to throw. Been using as a smallmouth/largemouth/carp line. Boogle bugs, big articulated streamers, deer hair you name it this line throws it. I even used it for fishing for carp in Tennessee on lakes. A quick cast will allow for a gentle drop when presenting a crayfish pattern, very versatile when you need it. Great stuff and as always great service from the folks at the shop.
